Default Luggage tags

OK, leaving for the cruise a week from tomorrow. Was getting things somewhat organized (with three little ones, 3 and under, things always take a bit more time), and noticed we had luggage tags in our cruise docs booklet. Does it matter if you put these on before or after your flight? Do they come off easily? I would rather put them on before the flight so they are on and I know where they are, just a little worried that they won't still be there when I pick up my luggage in the terminal.

Thanks
Jay

Put them on after your flight and you arrive at the destination airport (MCO,FLL,MIA etc) The airlines will sometimes remove luggage tags from other airlines.. and your bag tags may get removed as well. Just to be safe, you should put on after you claim your bags.

Jay...

If you haven't done it already.. be sure to do your online boarding documents(set sail pass RCCL calls it) and print them. Keep them with our cruise docs... It will make your check in at the pier go very quickly.

Thanks for the replies folks. Looks like I'll wait until we go to the port to put them on.

Did already print out the set sail pass. Have it with our cruise docs and our passports.

Both grandmothers will be here on Tuesday for babysitting duty and the plane leaves at 6:15 friday morning for the Sat. cruise. Looking forward to this vacation more than any before.

The Enchantment it is. First cruise and the time couldn't go by fast enough. Problem is that once we leave on vacation, time will go by too fast.

I agree, wait until you arrive at your destination & are picking up your luggage. Put the tags on then. You can do this while you are waiting for the bags as they come by one by one.

Better safe than sorry. Those bags really take a beating!

Or, wait until you get to the docks.
