Buying Liquor on board in duty free shop?

Does anybody know if you can buy liquor in the shop on the ship and take it back to your cabin? Thanks,

My experience is that any liquor purchased onboard is held and delivered to your cabin the last night.

Used to be bale to. I have heard conflicting reports on this. Last time I brough my won to be safe and forget to check. I would like to know as well. If you buy duty free, they hold it. Used to be you pay regular price and could take it to your cabin.

If you buy it in the shop, they will hold it for you. If you want some for the cabin, just use room service. the price is not bad.

The above posts are correct; however, we just cruised on Navigator OTS. We bought two bottles of vodka to take home with us, and we bought them probably around 10am on the last full day onboard. They just gave them to us to take with us. So we could have enjoyed at least one day of cheap imbibing but alas, we took the bottles home.

My understanding is that, anything prior to the last day, they will hold and deliver to your room on the last day.
