I'm sailing on the Mariner o/t Seas on the 30th and was wondering if there is a minimum age requirement for the gym. I try to go a few times a week and I'd definately love to take a jog (if I remember correctly from the ads) while watching the vast ocean pass me by. But I'm also 15 (turning 16 in June) and I know my gym has a minimum age of 14, but being a cruise mabye the gym's minimum age limit might be higher. So this is where the question comes, is there a minimum age for the gyms on board the mariner? and if so, what is it?
According to the Cruise Compass from the Radiance...."The ShipShape Fitness is reserved for guests 16 and older". The jogging track is open for any age but check for specific times. Regarding the use of the ship's gym, try getting a letter from your gym manager as a reference to your membership and have a parent go with you. Since you are only weeks from the minimum age maybe they will make an exception. Good luck and have a great time.
