Default Do I need to bring an Iron on NOS?

Does anyone know if I need to bring an Iron or does each room have one? I am leaving in 4 days... any answers would be appreciated.

NO! Do not bring an iron. Steamers, or anti-wrinkle spray are the items of choice, and they work. But irons are not allowed in the cabins. Fire hazzard you know.

The best thing to bring is a Rowenta garment steam brush. I use mine at home even more than my iron, and it is great for traveling. They are in the $30 range, and worth every penny.

They do not allow you to bring irons on the ship. But they do have press only services and it is dirt cheap. You can get an entire mens suit pressed for $3.50.

The other item is to pack those clothes in the plastic dry cleaning bags, it has worked well for us.

Irons are not allowed, fire hazzard. Hang clothes on hangers, cover with dry cleaners bags and pack in your garment bag. Unpack as soon as your luggage gets to your stateroom. Steam out wrinkles in the shower, use a portable steamer, wrinkle release spray or use the ships pressing service.

Can anyone tell me what the brand name is on the wrinkle release product? I have looked at the grocery store and also Walmart and did not find anything like that.

Hi Elaine88,

It's called Downy Wrinkle Releaser and I've found it in the laundry detergent aisle at both the grocery store (Kroger) and in Wal-Mart. It's a white spray bottle with blue and pink lettering.

Last week I found a "travel size" at Wal-Mart in their "travel size" area near the pharmacy.

I HATE to iron, and have found this works very well!
