Can someone answer a question we have regarding our children. We are taking them(13 and 15 yr old) on a 7 day western Carb. cruise on Freedom of the seas in January 07 and are wondering how much should we be tipping per day, per child for waiter/cabin attendant etc.
The standard amount for tipping is $10 per person (in the cabin) per day. So for a 7-day cruise, you should plan to tip $280 for the four of you. You shouldn't reduce the amount of tip because they are children. The staff does just as much work for children (sometimes more) as they do for adults.

the guideline is $10.00 per person per day. This tip goes to your cabin steward, and your wait team- its really not a lot if you think about it.
You can always tip more if any member of your team gives you outstanding service.
Tips for drinks are automatically added to your tab. IF you use room service please tip your server a buck or two because room service people are not included in the automatic tippping.
