If you have allready sailed once with RCL then you can sign up for the Crown and Anchor, that is the only requirement. It gives you perks based on your level. The level has to do with how many cruises you have taken with RCL. I am not sure what all you get, as far as perks(possible coupon books for free stuff?), since next month will be our first sailing ever, but we intend to sign up for it for future trips. Perhaps someone else can give you better info on what you get. It is free to sign up, so take advantage of it and start earning your appropriate level.

I believe all you have to do is go to the www.rccl.com website. Find the info on Crown and Anchor, and it should give you instructions from there. I beleive you do have to know the previous sailing info for them to verify that you have sailed with them before.

Good Luck

Do sign up ASAP before your cruise. You can register online through www.royalcaribbean.com, or there is a telephone number posted that you can call . You'll receive a coupon book in your cabin - one for every member.

The Gold level membership is the lowest level. We're at that level. Here are some of the coupons we got on our last cruise:
- 1 meal at Johnny Rockets (normally a $3.95 upcharge)
- a free cocktail with the purchase of another
- a bingo credit
- a complimentary wine tasting
- different casino credits
- gift shop discount
- spa discount

and so on. You'll also be invited to the Captain's reception for returning cruisers. And we got a small gift midway through the cruise (a travel bag - like a book bag). I don't know if they always have the same gift, or if there are different ones each season or year.

Enjoy your cruise!

YES... most definitely sign up.

Check out RCI website as it provides all the benies in addition to the coupon books. You will receive a free gift, and each ship typically has a different type gift. I have received fanny packs, totes and cosmetic type bag. After 5 cruises you become eligible for more benefits... including discounted rates on certain cabins. You also get priority check in and private lounges at checkout, etc.

There is also a member page on the website which has a variety of coupons available to members only.... usually offering up to 250 off a cabin depending on itinerary.

It is free to sign up... so you have nothing to lose!

I think you must be 18 or older to join Crown & Anchor. When you turn 18, you get credit for all cruises taken. In other words, you could enter C&A as a Diamond Level, if you cruised alot with your parents.

They put them in your cabin.

We are Diamond level, and the benefits are quite nice. We especially like the complimentary cocktails and snacks from 5 to 8 PM in the Concierge Lounge. Saves a bunch of $$ on drinks.

We are also Diamond Members. We get a discount on a balcony cabin, Concierge Lounge, gifts, free air deviation, more coupons in the books, last cruise we were invited to take a tour (about 12 people) of the computer control room with all the cameras showing areas of the ship. Gifts differ from ship to ship, but we are well pleased with the perks we get. You have a special line from boarding and yes, the priority in leaving the ship....

I am also a Diamond member and in addition to the embarkation and disembarkation benefits (private lounge, early on/off ship) this is what we saved on our last cruise:

Alcohol $88.13 Included (2) Souvenier Glasses
Casino Money $42.00
Johnny Rockets $7.90
10% Discount $12.93
Photos $59.85 (Included (1) TA Coupon

Total Saved $210.81

Not bad for just signing up and being a repeat customer (and the savings can be even more for a couple who drink more than one or two drinks an evening (using the concierge lounge)).

Trust me if it wasn't for me being a Diamond Member I would be dropping a heavy bill. However the concierge lounge saves me a lot. Get some drinks before dinner, buy a drink or 2 at dinner, then come back for the half hour after to get prepped for the night. Great times...I LOVE being in the C and A society.

I got to Diamond level with my last cruise. So on November and again in May I should be privvy to that. Do they send you a new C&A card automatically? I guess I would have the same number. Although my membership card has the number, it does not show the level. It seems like they used to. I guess they will know.

PS I just called and they said I was Diamond now. She said they had no Concierge lounge on Enchantment so I had to correct her.

So now instead of Dave the Wave, I will be Diamond Dave!

Dave the Wave..if you are now "diamond dave" what are your sons "platimun pre-teens" ??? (smile)

you might start building repeat business on another line just so that you have options in the future for VIP treatment

Hey Venice! How you been? Did you check out my galleries? There are 3 from the May Enchantment cruise. Yes, I took the step up to the Mariner for 7 rather than the 5 nighters I have been doing. My alimony payments are over in February so I will be living large now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My main man "DTW"..yes I enjoyed your pictures in the gallery with all of your "new friends"..be careful after your alimony payments end and just convert that money that you have not had for years into the boys college fund because that time will be rolling up on you quicker then you think

glad you stepped up to a 7 nighter...I'm thinking about doing the Freedom of the Seas next May on a charter

Notice that your girl is expecting number 2 child...you'll be needing that extra money to help her out

are you practicing your surfing techniques so you can show off on the wave rider on the freedom ?...you are getting too old for the belly flop ritual

take care

I will never be too old for the belly flop. There are guys older than still doing it. Flow-rider will be cool. Can't yet justify the premium for the Freedom over the Mariner yet. This will our first Voyager class ship. Maybe 2008 Freedom class.

I am done with Brittney anyway. She is a tramp. She used to be hot but is quickly getting un-hot!

DTW...I hear Jessica Simpson will be the new Godmother for the newest RCI ship coming out next year..perhaps you should start working your charms to entice her to go on the cruise with you

rumor is she is single and just your type..you two can double with halle berry and I and we can go 50/50 on the owner's suite and the 3 of us will watch you in the belly flop contest from close circuit tv in the suite

You may be right. I will have to give Jessica a call. But if you go, you need to join me in the belly flop contest.
