Connecting Cabins
We booked a Cruise on The Jewel of the Seas for Oct 14, 06 and did not
realized that they were connecting cabins. At present there are no other
cabins available in that category. Our question, is there a major noise
problem that could occur. I realize that it would depend on the other persons. But in general are these any nosier

I have connecting cabins two times and have never noticed any more or any less noise coming from the cabins. I don't think you will have a problem.

Take care,

Pray that you are not next door to:

1. Unsupervised teens
2. Hard of hearing passenger who watches TV to go to sleep
3. Honeymooners

I just posted on that exact problem and we moved an upcoming cruise because of it. The adjoining door was almost like having a hole in the wall. We could "mute" our TV and listen to the program via our neighbor's volume! We could hear them making their plans for the day and debriefing them in the evening. No, they were not yelling and their TV probably didn't seem that loud to them but it was a nuisance. One we will NOT repeat. Cabins do open up as final payment day approaches so if you are far enough out, I would still try to get it switched.

LL and Robbie H

Thanks for the info you both answered our greastest fears.
Will have TA waitlist us or select a different category

TA called to inform us that we no longer have connecting cabins. No worry
about noise coming from the connecting door.':D'
