Default getting on the boat

i will be sailing on the adventure 7/9 & I was wondering what to expect while waiting to board the ship. On my previous cruises, we arrived earlier in the morning---right when they first let passengers on board, so needless to say the lines were kind of long & it took a pretty long time to board. This year I won't be arriving at the docks until something like 2 or 3o'clock. Since I am arriving later than usual, will the bulk of the passengers already be on board & I can expect shorter lines & waiting period? Is it the same wait time all day? Or will it be even longer than usual? Its the San Juan port if that makes any difference.
thanks

I've boarded around that time in San Juan and the lines are much shorter, than earlier, so you should have no long waits. Have fun!

I have a friend that just came back from that ship and trip. He said they did not leave the port until 10 PM. What time do you sail? I think it is later from San Juan than the typical 5 PM sailings from the Florida ports.

San Juan handles embarkation much differently since it doesn't sail until late, allowing passengers to come and go all day after checking in. So, folks tend to get aboard early, so they enjoy the city a little longer! You're going to have a great time on this ship and itinerary!

On our cruise it was at 10 p.m. You might also be interested in knowing that the Destiny is one of the few ships with a very relaxed dress code in the dining room for two nights of the cruise: the first night and one of the ports nights, shorts are allowed, because they know people are coming back to eat and then going back into port.

My mistake, Dave ... My cruise was on the Destiny, so that's what I was thinking about, even though I knew they were sailing the Adventure!
