speaking of old school speedos; anyone catch the trailer for the new james bond movie Casino Royale; James Bond is wearing an old school speedo and definetly is speedo worthy.

Will have to check it when I get home. Was out on the boat yesterday to see the air show downtown with my kids. The highlight as always was at the end when an F-16 from MacDill did the fly-by. He did several maneuvers and then everybody blew their horns! This was at 4 PM though and the Bucs had also just won. I missed an opportunity for a Speedo shot though. On the way in, going under the Skyway, we passed a boater and waved, as he passed us, we saw he was wearing a green Speedo and I had already put the camera away. I had my flag flying like many others at the airshow which was dedicated to the Military so everybody was waving at us.

I also missed a serious speedo opportunity in Orlando (didn't have my cell phone or camera) and there was a bunch of German guys at the pool; one in a bright orange speedo; oh well. Next time.

I am getting ready. Start packing tonight. Make last minute purchase of suntan products and alcohol. Still on the fence about driving down myself early or riding the bus with some others in the group. I am leaning more towards driving myself now. I just like getting there by 11. Those guys won't get on the road until 8:30 probably and get there 2 ish. Besides, I like to smoke when driving and won't be able to in the bus. 8)

just don't forget the delay on I-75 from just south of the Fruitville Rd Exit for about 5 miles.
Yeah, I would be antsy on the bus myself; like to smoke as well. and really like to get on the boat early, getting on the boat as late as 2:00 pm seems like a waste of 1/2 day

re: packing: you are probably traveling light this time, as you are packing all speedos - nope take that back; it won't be light cause you are packing Speedos & Beer.

Speedos and beer, yes. But relatively lite packing for a 4 nighter. Won't have kids either and all their stuff. 4 days of fun in the sun start with the first day in Ft Lauderdale. AT bar by 1130 and in the pool by noon. Getting there at 3-4 PM in your street clothese IS a waste of 1/2 day. I will arrive in my Speedo, flip flops and Hawaiian shirt. People will be sitting around the pool in jeans and jackets waiting for their luggage to arrive. Sunset is at 6 PM these days so not a moment to waste. 8)

sounds like your mind is made up and you are driving on your own- was it the time change that did it for ya - well have a safe journey to Ft. Lauderdale and have a blast on the cruise, we all will want to see pics and hopefully you win the belly flop this time.

re: topic of another thread on another board, but see if you can get a pic of Henry the Vacuum cleaner having some fun...

Okay in Nov issue of Maxim in the caption contest section there is a man in a speedo wearing a helmet and white knee socks; bizzare. I tried to take a pic of the pic, but it is very fuzzy; see if any of the guys at the dorm have the issue....

Ok.. pace man story...
The word Pace... (for this fellow) means... Everything... it can mean anything at any time depending on the connotation of the sentence... for example...
I went on an AWESOME cruise in july and the cruise staffers were soo much PAAACE!!!
meaning there... Fun!!

or you could use it like... I went on a pace cruise in november and it rained all week.... meaning bad. (ahaha like cruises can be bad)

So with that said... that guy... says pace every other word practically... when saying hello.. .when saying goodbye... it sounds annoying... but it works for 'im... anywho... so he has always loved superman.. but didnt want to buy a superman costume.... cause he's a cheap college student.... SO... he created PACE MAN!!! (har har... meaning SuperMan)
