I did get onboard the Regal Empress once and found out it was a swingers cruise. Same thing, frumpy middle aged people tired of each other so they swap with strangers. I had gone by myself so had no partner to swap. Not my bag anyway but was great fun watching the antics.

Does the cruise lines let passengers know that are booked on a future cruise that it is a "different" type of crowd.

I would be pissed

if I did board the freedom on that January 29th sailing to find out I'm cruising with the "bears". :evil:

.....bunch of naked people in a cramped ships elevator ...which, every time it stops at a floor it does that little bounce and flips things you don't notice when you're dressed. I started to punch the elevator button and a guy in the back said, "ballroom"... so we all gave him a little more room. Ever occur to you that elevators smell different to midgets.

that is friggin hilarious.

re: huge group group cruises; if it was ANY large group where it appears the entire ship is taken over - like in the picture-- I would be upset. as far as lifestyles - to each his/her own, whatever, don't care - but if I get on a cruise and can't use the pool and other activities because huge groups took them over then you are darn right I would be pissed. (My point is a group of under 50 or so on a smaller class ship and under 200 or so on a large class would no bother me; it is just when your activities are restricted due to a large group that I would be upset.

in fact, I cruised with a whole GAGGLE of snowbirds of about 200 on a small ship (Radiance) and they were literally taking over the ship; it was not fun in the day because they were taking over major activities as a group instead of organizing their own group activities - you couldn't get near the bingo (

)... at night everything was okay because most were in bad

I don't think they would have to tell you. When I cruise on the Regal Empress, I had no idea it was a swingers cruise until I stumbled upon a website advertising it while I was looking for reviews and pictures of the ship. I do think they should offer the information when it is a large and controversail group. We found out recently that our upcoming Grnadeur cruise will be host to a local readio station party. They are pretty mainstream though. As long as they are not swingers, rappers or bears, it will be Ok with me.

WELL HOW MANY SWINGERS WERE ON THE SHIP - A FEW, A GROUP OR A WHOLE SHIP?

IN THE CASE OF THE BEARS THEY SEEM TO BE A BIG GROUP AND TAKE OVER THE WHOLE SHIP SO I CAN'T SEE WHY THE CRUISE LINE WOULD NOT INFORM OTHER GUESTS WHEN BOOKING.

There were about 300 plus swingers onboard and this ship only carried about 800 peeps. They all had green wristbands on so it was easy to tell who they were. I did crash the party they had on Saturday night. It was called "Bare as you Dare" I wore my blue velvet sports coat and shoes with nothing else. Before long some of the ladies were lifting my coat tails as I leaned on the bar and spanking my bare bottom with these leather whips. I couldn't believe it

well yes then 300 is a big crowd. "bare as you dare" that is too funny! but it sounds like fun even if you are just looking around!

I was invited to a late night private party by some of the swingers to their suite. Beleive it or not, I didn't have the nerve to go. I guess I could have just watched but these peeps were not exactly lovely. I imagined the swingers as a group of young beautiful people like in the movies but they were more like the "Over the Hill Gang"

Not a speedo but definitely heads turning swimwear.

This is on the beautiful beach of Grand Cayman. This fun couple were cruisers however not sure which ship as there were a few ships in port that day.
A fun day at Grand Cayman with some fun cruisers!

I know the picture is huge I was having problems getting it smaller.

Giving away cruise pictures is fine however "Majesty" does not give away any cruise videos as they might not all be rated G.
