CQ..the males on this board, will chip in to purchase the technology that you can take an upclose picture from 6 miles away..but you can only use it for thong pictures ..for speedos you have to do it the old fashion way

I've been missing from this thread for some time... but I've buffed up the body since and will be trying it out-in a new speedo on the Monarch on the 9/4 sailing.

If my picture doesn't show up here-I'll know I was looking fine!

Police: Man wearing Speedo tried to steal vehicles

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- A burglary suspect wearing only a Speedo-style swimsuit has been arrested in Connecticut after a police dog tracked him down and bit him on the leg.

Police say they spotted the suspect in East Hartford on Thursday wearing the bathing suit and holding a toolbox that had been stolen from a truck. They say he tried to steal several vehicles and also took items from them.

Police say he tried to run from them, but a police dog found him hiding behind a car.

The Journal Inquirer of Manchester reported that he was being held after his arrest on $50,000 bail. He was scheduled for arraignment Friday, but the result of that hearing was not immediately available.

Judge to Speedo man: No more thongs




The man known around Tallahassee for regularly riding his bicycle in a thong had his day in court on Monday afternoon.

Also known as "Speedo man," Richard E. Irby, 55, sat in court in black jeans, shirt and trench coat as his attorney told Leon County Judge Judith Hawkins that Irby had consented to a deferred prosecution agreement. Conditions of the agreement include not wearing a thong and remaining free of legal problems for three months.

The bald, 6-foot-3, 220 pound Irby was arrested in August for exposing himself in three different instances, according to a Tallahassee Police Department arrest warrant.

"I was nervous about it because I'd never been to court before," Irby said after the hearing at the Leon County Courthouse. "I was having trouble getting to sleep the last few nights because I didn't know if they were going to put me in jail or what."

He was also nervous about having to pay court costs because he lives on a fixed income.

Irby was booked into jail on Aug. 27 after being arrested. The incident that initiated legal action involved Irby wearing only a blue thong while in the office at the Greenwood Mobile Home Park on St. Augustine Road on Aug. 13. The office manager and a resident said Irby's genitals were exposed.

Four days later, another park resident accused Irby of intentionally exposing himself two times near her mobile home. The final accusation was brought by a woman who said Irby was fully exposed despite wearing a thong as he rode his bike near Magnolia Drive and Apalachee Parkway.

Irby said he is still riding his bike when weather permits and that he has been able to ride without a thong since the time of his arrest.

"I finally found biker shorts that come down to about here that I can wear," he said tapping just above his left knee.

8) I started my tanning and training today for my upcoming Radiance of the Seas cruise. It has been a hot rainy summer so I went in the tanning bed at the gym and now I am a little pink around the edges of my Speedo. But I have time for it to tan up by October! 8)

She's pretty well covered and looks like she's there to enjoy herself. That, I don't mind. Good for her!!! I've seen some atrocious "bikini" bodies on cruises. I'm no prude but thongs shouldn't be worn at the "family" pool, even if you have the body for it. In our family, we decided out by the pool that there is a condition that doesn't get much attention. YOu know how there are those folks who starve themselves because they look in the mirror and see a fat person...??? There are those that look in the mirror and don't see they don't have a bikini body and think they are "lookin' good"......There are those that don't believe they look the age on their DL and continue to wear bikinis and clothing that is not "age appropriate" but it's free entertainment so what the heck. I wear a swimsuit (one piece) and have a handy cover-up. I still enjoy the sun and the pool and age or weight shouldnt keep anyone away from anything except the bikinis (and speedos..sorry) being sold in department stores.

I say find a happy middle ground between tiny and too long...

You are right, some people should not wear them. But just as important is where you wear them. Around the pool or beach is one thing but walking down a city street another.

Well if anyone is out on the Gulf of Mexico this afternoon off of St Pete Beach they will get a Speedo sighting from the Minnow of the Seas. I told my "date" that once we get offshore that going topless is encouraged
