This was taken, by me. I couldn't resist it. I got the last cabin, a promenade view, for $804 pp. (Including taxes & fees). That is SO below what this ship is selling for right now. I see it listed at $1049, not including taxes, everywhere I go.
I don't understand why more CM readers did not jump in on this group cruise. If you snooze you lose, folks. I just hope nobody reading this just booked a cabin on Freedom ot Seas, as they will sorry they didn't get this great deal while they could.
You (and everyone, for that matter) will have a fantastic time!!! I would have booked in a heartbeat, but 1) can't travel in Sept, and 2) am already booked for a second go-round on Freedom for December.
I'll be interested to hear how you like the promenade cabin! I'm booked in one solo for December.
Be sure to have Adrian at Boleros make you plenty of mojitos!!!

Absolutely no insider trading at all! Yes, price pp for two including all additonal fees.
I often tell people to watch our classified ads as I cannot believe many of the deals I see there on a regular basis. Think about it, if you were a cruise agency and someone cancelled a cabin you had in a group in which you negotiated a great rate a long time ago but was no longer available, where would you go to give notice to the public that it is available?
I might sound like I am touting it, but I have to read our classifed ads every day as part of my job, and I am often tempted to book the cruise deals I see in there. There is a lot of good stuff.
The manner in which the cruise lines handle groups these days is much different than it was before. Now they sell groups early, and if you can't sell your group out they take the cabins back, and on a popular ship like Freedom, they raise they price as long as the demand is there.
On the other hand, if the pricing is soft, they sometimes drop the price, too, The important thing about cruise shopping is to be flexible and grab a great rate when you see it. They have become like plane fares, except they vary week to week instead of seat to seat.
I posted your reader review of the ship - thank you for sending it in.
Freedom is a very special ship, and it is very hard to put a finger on why. Frankly, I am seriously surprised that I liked such a huge ship. I was truthful in my review that I need to go back and figure out if it is too big. It *should* be, for my taste, but it didn't feel like it!
It's so exciting when I hear people are going to sail on her. Everyone is in for a big treat!
All of you CruiseMate cruisers need to make a point of tracking down Ashley. She's up on the sports deck, and there is a picture of her in my photo gallery here on CM. Her sister is a member here, and Ashley will be so excited to meet all of you guys!!!
Tracy, really appreciated your comment about "Freedom" not feeling too big. Wife (who is NOT a cruise junkie like me) didn't like "Explorer's" size but hope to get her on "Freedom" or a sister ship at some point.
