Default Parking: Royal Caribbean: Enchantment - Ft. Lauderdale

What is the parking like in Ft. Lauderale/Port everglades? How much, etc. Any tips, suggestions? I searched this board, but the only thing I found was quite old. I was there 4 years ago, I don't recall how much the parking was or if there was sufficient parking spaces. I.E. should we show up real early like before 11:00 to get parking. Thanks.

Thanks. Last question; do you have to pay cash for parking or do they take credit cards? Got to save my cash to give to the Casino. .

You pay when you leave. It is $12 per day and you can use cash or CC. It is a 5-6 level garage so your car is protected and in the sahed the whole time. The ship is directly across the street. I find it easier to park first and carry/roll my luggage across that get caught up in the mess of dropping it off and then parking.

Great; glad it is in the "sahed"! Just bought a new car and want "Baby O" to sit in the shade and be comfy. Her paint color is Sunburst Orange Pearl; so she was nicknamed "Baby O"; she can't be the big "O" cause frankly, she has some peformance issues.

Here's a tip . . . go in via the SE 24th Street entrance, especially if it's a weekend. All the cruise pax go via the north and south entrances, so there's normally a long, long, long line. That road also becomes SR 84 (I think it has a nickname like 'miracle' or 'millionaire' or "marine" mile as there's a heap of yacht brokers along the way. It goes directly into 595. I discovered this 'cause the crew parking lot is on that street (and a #*@& mile and a half away from the ship!)

RCCL ships usually dock at #25 if I remember correctly . . .

Here's a map of the port

and this is the ports web site about cruises - lots of good info

Yes, that is me. Honda me, Dodge you. It is OK, I understand performance issues. Don't worry, I still like you anyway. Not everyone can have an Element.

But Orange is cool n matter the car... 8)
