Looks like RCCL is stepping up and making it right for the passenegers.

Having sailed on this cruise, I can tell everyone that RCCL's Captain Rob Hempstaed did a first rate job of dealing with a less than desirable situation. His informational updates were most thorough and the staff gave 150% in attending to their passengers' needs. Hats off to Captain Rob, his staff, and RCCL! Truely an example of first class treatment.

Kudos to Captain Rob Hempstead. We got back on Sunday from the Grandeur of the Seas. Despite arriving back in Baltimore, much later than expected, Captain Rob Hempstead constantly apprised the passengers as to what was going on. I really enjoyed his talk about how the Grandeur of the Seas functioned and the video tour of all the departments related to the maintenance of the ship. Captain Hempstead's great sense of humor put many of the passangers at ease. I would not hesitate to sail with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, especially if Captain Hempstead is in command of the ship!

Well said, Balabusta. This is exactly the type of service that separates the winners from the also rans.

The Cruise Director's alter ego, Dale was a consistent hoot!

Well done RCCL!
