As a first time Diamond member who has not booked a suite can anyone give me the following information.
Can I get access to the concierge suite on freedom or just the Diamond lounge? and can you just go in anytime and get a free drink like a red wine, also do you just go in and help yourself or will somone serve you a drink bit confused what the deal is??
Had alook at a picture on the web and it seems to have fridges full of beer etc mmmmmmmmm
Haven't been on Freedom, but have used the Concierge Lounge on other ships. I assume they all work the same way.
You ask about the Concierge Suite and the Diamond Lounge. I think you will find that there is one "club" - the Concierge Lounge. The lounge is open all day (and presumably all night). You can get coffee and pastries at breakfast hours. Cocktails and snacks are complimentary, but usually only from 5:00 to 8:00 P. M. You can go in, say, in mid-afternoon, and get some coffee, but not a drink. When you do get a cocktail, it will be served to you - it's not a "pour it yourself" situation.
Depending on how many Diamond and Diamond Plus members there are on board, they may have to open a second lounge during cocktail hour to accomodate the large crowds. On our last Jewel cruise, there were something like 140 Diamond and Diamond Plus folks on board - far too many to fit into the Concierge Lounge. Add all the folks in the suites, and you get the picture.
Enjoy!

No Pootersdad, royboy8 specifically asked about Diamond Club.
On FR there is the Concierge Club on deck 10 and the Diamond Club up on deck 14.
As you say, there may be lots of Diamonds and Damond +´s onboard during some cruises and then the overflow are usually assigned a seconday lounge.
"Add all the folks in the suites,...". I would rather say the opposite "add all the Diamonds", since the Concierge Club is primarily intended for guests travelling in suites!

Thanks for any info
If you are a Diamond member booked in a suite, you will have access to both. If you are Diamond booked in any thing other than a suite, you will only have access to the Diamond Lounge. If you are not a Diamond member, but booked in a suite, you will have access to the Concierge Lounge only. Did that make sense?? ;-)
While I can't tell you specifically about the concierge lounge, I can tell you about the Diamond Lounge:
The Diamond Lounge is self serve drinks. In the evening hours, they have limited alcohol and a few different wines, along with hor dourves (sp?).

Yes LM, those are the rules and they make sense to me
However, I have heard many whining Diamonds (not in suites) who will not agree

More bucks for beer is right. I just doing four nights this time. $782 for two right under the pool. The least expensive balcony on deck 7 or 8 is about $1500. Just can't justify it. Mariner next May did the larger ocean view 211 SF on deck 9 since it is for 7 nights and about $400 more than inside. I like being high in the ship so I am closer to the pool. 8)
