Default Halloween cruise with 6 and 16 year old

MY husband, son(6), daughter(16) and I are scheduled to cruise on the Grandier of the sea the week of Halloween. MY son is not real thrilled about missing trick or treating. Does anyoneknow what type of plans they may have for the kids. Should I bring a costume? do they have a party or allow kids to go door to door trick or treating(I could wish). I fanyone has sailed during this time please let me know.
Thanks
Lisa

We were on the Explorer of the Seas a few years ago during Halloween. My son had a great time, they had a halloween party and parade and got candy. I am sure once he gets on the ship, Halloween will be the last thing on his mind. We are going again this year at halloween on the freedom of the seas, and we are bringing his costume as well.

To be really honest, my son loved being on the cruise so much, he loved Adventure Ocean and just the abundant amount of things to do, he never even cared about actually missing house to house trick or treating. We have done Halloween on cruises, At Disney and at Universal Studios and Sea World. If you ask my son where he would rather be, he will always say on a RCCL cruise.

I hope you have a great trip

My son is 8 now. This time we are also taking my 17 year nephew who is thrilled about the rock wall and the surf rider. I am thrilled for a week with no work and no cell phone! I hope you have a great trip, I am sure you will!

I would dress up the young one and have him roam the passageways knocking on cabin doors.

Do it about 1/2 hour before the first seating and I'll bet he get some good stuff. Most likely a buck per cabin since folks are not going to packing candy.!
