Are there thermostats in each individual room, or is the temperature of your room controled by the ship?

Send a message via AIM to Donna

You do have your very own, and you can adjust as needed.

Donna is right, but IMO on most ships they don't do much. However, having said that, we just returned from the "Mariner of the Seas", and I'll guarantee that if you turned the thermostat down to cool, you'd better get the blanket out, because it REALLY worked. It was great!
Have a great cruise, and enjoy that cool air in the cabin.

I found them to work well. The problem i have is trying to find that happy medium between hot and cold. The center position on the control for me is not comfortable...

Each room has its own. I have found they control the HVAC quite well, and on the occasion they didn't, a simple phone call to ship's maintenance quickly remedied the problem.

I like a cool room, especially for sleeping, and bring along a digital thermometer. Believe me, you can maintain your room down to 68 degrees if you want to. But like any thermostat, give it a chance to do its thing before you readjust. This may take an hour or so. Good luck. Steve
