internet use?

I was wondering if Crew members are allowed to use Internet cafes? should i bring my Laptop? Is the internet Free?

i will be on Majesty of the Seas Royal Caribbean

The crew gets a discounted rate on Internet, but definitely not free access.

This is surprising, I would have expected some level of internet access is provided to crew members for free to help out with crew morale.

...to limit use of the resource more than to get income. There are limited number of computers available for the crew to use. If no $$ was charged, the benefit could be abused by one or two crew members...to the detriment of everyone else. The crew has their own internet cafe area.
