Default Question for Freedom of the Seas cruisers

My wife and I are "baby boomers" (that is the 60 age-range) and would like to know if we would fit in with the crowd that sails on these megaships???? We don't do wall climbing, but we do like to have fun.....

Manny if you enjoy cruising than you will fit in just fine. You can enjoy the production shows. the entertainment on board is very good. my wife and i are "baby boomers" and we don't rock climb, but we do enjoy the whole cruise experience.

Havening cruised on Freedom, I'd say YES, for sure you'd fit in...still lots of things you can do and if you like to walk, there is plenty of walking all over the ship. In one week you hardly cover the entire ship.

Manny: one word - ABSOLUTELY. It doesn't matter which ship you choose, the age range and wide variety of activities appeals to all age groups. On Freedom, you'll find more pool areas (and 7 spas), a longer Royal Promenade with more sit-down areas, a much larger fitness area, and of course a larger promenade deck.

While rock climbing may not appeal to you, you might just find the lure of the Flowrider too hard to pass up. Get there early on one of the port days (there are very few people then), sign up, and try it out on the lay-down boogie board. It is really fun and I saw many boomers in your age group repeating it. Plus there's ice skating if you'd like to try that. Just bring long pants, as they're required.

Have fun! Steve

Default Freedom of the Seas question

We are also older (although age is only a state of mind), my dear husband is 60 and I am 52. We have met some FANTASTIC people older than us (in their 70's and 80's) who were more active than the younger crowd on the ships! Enjoy yourself, don't worry about your age, relax and have a great time. Have a great time!! Livvysgram

:We are also in the "older" age, and have been on the Mariner 3 times, and the Voyager twice, and will be on the Freedom this Sunday. We love the big ships, we dont do the rock climbing or skating, or will we do flow rider, but just love the action, and the beautiful ships. There is plenty to do for everyone. Cant wait to see the Freedom.
