Default Chops or Portofino .... or both

Am going on Serenade next month. Have been to Portofino's on AOS and VOS - loved it. Have never been to Chops (I don't think they have these on Adventure or Voyageur?) Does anyone have a preference and why? Maybe we should do both ......

Loved them both on Brilliance--very diff--Portofino more on atmoshphere etc but Chops--best food ever== they bring the beef to the table for you to choose--would not miss it--& not quite as long & drawn out as Specialty dining on other ships--just the best food ever!

I did have the lovely expierence of dinning at Chops on Freedom of the Seas, and I felt it was wonderful, well worth the $20. Others in our group did try Portofino's as well and said that was just as good or even better...

Never been to "Portofino's" but have eaten in "Chops" several times and always felt it was worth the price.

We have been in both of them on Brilliance and Jewel and had a great meal each time. I recommend a visit to each, especially on cruises beyond 1 week. It makes for a nice break from the dining room and is worth the extra money for us.

Just returned from Mariner of the Seas. We went to Chops, good meal although not as good (in my opinion) as those on other ships, especially Carnival.

We've been to both Chops and Portofino's on Radiance and Serenade. Both are definitely worth the price. We've never been disappointed by the food or the service. The wait staff in the side restaurants are top notch. On both trips, the staff remembered us days later (BY NAME!) when we saw them around the ship. I recommend the Tiramisu dessert at Portofino's....it's amazing!
