Default Freedom of the Seas - Lots of Questions

We are new to Royal Caribbean. We have taken several other cruises just not RC. We are planning to book on the Freedom of the Seas. I have several questions. Any answers would be appreciated.

1. Is Johnny Rockets and the other specialty restaurants pay by the selection or one price and order all you want. The cruises we've been on had a cover charge for the specialty restaurants but the dessert bars, etc. were pay by the peice (i.e. cake, cookies, coffee's, etc)

2. The boxing ring and ice skating rink. Are these for performances or for cruisers to use? Do you have to be a certain age to use them?

3. Is there a cost for the rock climbing wall?

4. How do the inside cabins on RC/Freedom of the Seas compare to Carnival?

5. Are there age requirements or restrictions on the Flow Rider?

6. Another specialty restaurant question - Which restaurants are included in the cruise price and which ones are "specialty restaurants"?

7. Do they have 24 hour pizza?

8. How are the evening shows on RC compared to Carnival or Norweigan

That's it for now. Any other tips for this ship are appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Johnny Rockets is 3.95 for anything you want (but milkshakes and sodas you would pay for individually)

Chops and Portofinos are $20 for whatever you want, although specialty coffees, or alcoholic beverages are additional

Ice Skating has "open skate" for passengers. You must bring socks and have long pants. No charge

Boxing ring is for lessons only, and you have to pay for those (not sure of the cost)

No cost, but you must remember to bring socks

sorry, can't answer this one. I haven't sailed Carnival since 1993

Height requirements. I am not 100% sure, but I think it is 55in for boogie board and 60in for upright surfing

NOT included are Chops, Portofino's, Johnny Rockets, and Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

No, but Sorrento's pizza parlor is open until 3:00am

Shows on Freedom are the best I've ever seen on a cruise ship. "Once Upon A Time" is a MUST SEE.

You'll have a great time on Freedom!!

Although it is on the room service menu, beginning sometime late at night (early morning), they only deliver cold items (ie: sandwiches and chips)

Must be sometime after 4 a.m. because I had pizza delivered at that time on the Freedom this past August.
