Default Illness on ships

Does anyone know, should an illness pass across most of the passengers of a ship, if the ship does any resitution?

Case-by-case basis and depending on the serverity of the illness.

I got the Norwalk virus and Princess just did not charge me for the doctor calls and medicine. I was not the only one who got it.

SS Norway (12 times) '85 - '97; Radiance OS 06/01; Island Princess 11/04, Grand Princess 11/04/05, Golden Princess 7/21/06, Golden Princess 2/24/07, Explorer of the Seas 12/23/07, Island Princess 11/15/08

Well that is good to know ahead of time, that should we get sick because of something that is going around on the ship, passenger wise, the doctor will not charge for us to see him, or give us something to take.
