Default 2 Connected JS vs Royal Family

We have 2 joined JS on deck 9 of the Explorer ,we are a party of 4 , the wife, two teen daughters and myself. Which do you think is the better option? The wife and I like to spend time in the cabin so space is improtant, our daughters on the other hand love to run in and out of the cabin all day and night. I wonder is it more space in the Royal Family suite, or if the 2 JS will be fine.

I can't imagine 2 JS cabins being inadequate for 4 of you.

I would get the 2 JS's as you will have two bathrooms and also plenty of room and some privacy to boot!

There are two bathrooms in a FS too and the the area of the FS is more than twice that of a JS.

These are choices that most of us would like to have! Of the two, I would go for the Royal Family Suite. Why:

1) More space
2) Separate living room
3) Large balcony
4) Access to concierge lounge
5) Separate bedrooms

Only reason to not get the RFS is if your daughters are in and out of the room so frequently that it becomes annoying and you appreciate the extra door to the hall.

You are correct, I was thinking of the Royal Suite. However the Royal family suite does have two bathrooms but one is only a shower not a tub. A FS would be about 60 sq ft larger than 2 JS's on the Explorer but not all ships are the same size.

we just booked adjoining JS on Freedom. We like to get up early for coffee on balcony so won't disturb others. Also if anyone wants to take a nap they just close the door.Or for late night coming home it won't wake you either.
