Default snorkeling, Aruba or Curacao?

Hi, I am going on my first cruise (sailing on the AOS March 4th). We will be going to Aruba and Curacao and want to go snorkeling. Is one better then the other? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you'll find better snorkeling in Curacao than Aruba. Lots of nice beaches in Aruba, but not much to look at in the water. I did a ship excursion for snorkeling in Curacao once and it was great.

Default Snorkeling: Aruba or Curarao?

The best snorkeling we found on our Caribbean cruise a few years ago was in Curacao RIGHT OFF THE SHIP! When you walk out and turn left around the huge rocks, it was amazing what we saw! Even more amazing is when you look up, the ship is RIGHT THERE!!

We are also sailing on the AOS March 4th. I've heard Aruba has the clearest waters and beautiful beaches. Looking forward to snorkeling in both ports. See you there. Can't wait to get out of Michigan for the week.

We snorkeled off Playa PortoMari (Spelling?) in Curacao and it was gorgeous. Also did an excursion for a snorkel off the Antilla in Aruba and it was amazing. I recommend Aruba. Have a great cruise!

Aruba is all flat beach, not much to see except sand & maybe a few fish. Maybe away from the hotel strip might be better. Even over at Baby Beach, again, not much to see & towards the breakers it gets rough, but deep. It's not very scenic.

I've never been to Curacao, so I can't give you an opinion.
