Default Jewel of the Seas vs. Radiance of the Seas

I'm looking at 2 cruises next January. Both are Eastern Caribbean for 8 days. Is one of these ships clearly better than the other because my travel dates would allow me to pick from either one. Thanks.

"Radiance" was the first of four Radiance class ships with "Jewel" being the newest. There were minor revisions made but nothing you would miss out on by being on the other one.

I'll agree with previous poster, both ships are beautiful, cruised on both of them and just small things and the decor are a little different. Pick the itinary you like better and enjoy!

Just back from the Radiance (never been on the Jewel) and the
ship was beautiful, clean and we enjoyed it so much. Probably the
easiest ship to navigate...found our way around easily the
first day.

The Colony Club is the most beautiful group of public rooms I've
seen on a ship. Very classy with lovely wood panelling, elegant
decor. They hosted a brunch for platinum and diamond members
there plus repeaters cocktail party. Quest was also there, but I felt
it wasn't the greatest venue for this fun game.
