Default concierge service?

I was hoping I could get some help.

My wife, two daughters (7 and 9) and I are booked on the MOS for next Dec. 16, 2007. We are currently booked int a Junior Suite. I started looking into a Grand Suite for the larger room and the concierge service. What are the pros and cons of concierge level?

Thank you!!!

We had a GS last June on the Navigator. It is really nice and IMO you'd be very happy with the extra room. We hardly used the concierge lounge. We did get ice show tickets from the concierge without having to wait in a big line. They can also book shore excursions for you and reservations at the speciality restaurants. Thye do serve drinks and horsdeourves(?) before dinner each evening. We did use that a couple of times, but the problem was the Concierge Lounge on NOS is in the center of the ship and we hated to be cooped up when we could sit on our balcony. The space in the GS is wonderful. The bathroom is huge. Hope this infor helps. Enjoy your cruise.

Thanks fo rthe feedback. We are still up in the air on upgrading to the GS. I got bored on Monday night and booked 2 nights at Disney World prior to the cruise. We are going to surprise the kids.

Thanks again,

Default Concierge Lounge on Majesty OTS

Unless RCI has added one in the last year, there is no Concierge Lounge on the Majesty OTS. As far as I know, they only have them on Radiance, Voyager, and Freedom class ships.

No unfortunately no CL was added to MJ during revitalization.
So in addition to what you mention, there is one on EN and one on SP.

Hi Carolinablue,
You can go at the concierge lounge any time but the children must be with parents but not after five because they serve drinks and hors-d'oeuvres before dinner and those are free. You can have coffee anytime during the day, expresso or regular with danishes.Have a nice cruise.Mateli

Thanks Mateli,

I was just on the Royal Carribean web site and I realized I am a Crown and Anchor Diamond Memeber. My question is: I am a DIamond member but my wife is not. According to the web site Diamond members are permitted to go to the concierge lounge. Will my wife be able to go with me to the concierge lounge even though she is not a diamond member?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes, your wife can go with you.

We had an odd situation a few years ago. While I was checking our cruise credit status, I found I was credited with two more cruises than my wife. RCI had mistakenly credited me with someone else's cruises.

RCI told me that my wife automatically has the same number of cruise credits as I have.

You should be able to get an extra key to the Concierge Lounge from the Concierge (if they don't put two in your cabin).

THanks for the information. I noticed that you are going on the Brilliance for a Panama Canal cruise in a few days. We did that cruise about a year ago. We had the time of our lives. Enjoy!!!
