I would like to do a cruise on the Liberty of the Seas, however I have concerns about the stop in Labadee. Any information on those who have been there, done that, would be great.

If your concerns are regarding safety, I wouldn't worry. Labadee is a private area leased by RCCL for their private use. It is very secure and is fenced off so you will not be dealing with anyone except the vendors that are allowed to operate there by RCCL.
There are beaches, plenty of beach chairs, snorkeling, watersports such as jetskis, etc. As this is RCCL's private area, you will have to deal solely with them regarding any activities that cost .
They bring ashore plenty of food so you will have plenty to eat, on the house of course.
It's a good relaxing stop. I have been there 3 times and wouldn't hesitate to go again, which I probably will in the next year or so.
Relax, don't worry and enjoy your Labadee stop.
We've been to Labadee 3 times & always found it to be the highlight of the trip. We've recommended it to others & they came aways feeling the same. Only once a minor issue because my wife didn't listen to the RCI staff.
When first stepping onto the island she pulled out her wallet to buy a small item. She was swarmed by the locals pulling & grabbing at her to spend her money on them. She wasn't harmed or robbed, just scared. The RCI staff intervienwed immediately and broke it up, they were great. Other then that, we'd go back in a heartbeat again.
Labadee is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to get off the ship and wonder around, pick up some of the BBQ'd lunch they serve. They offer some excursions there, we've done the wave runners and that was a lot of fun. You can parasail if you wish, banana boats. Lots of space there to walk around, plus a market, don't miss this stop.
We have been to Labadee twice. It is a great water sport stop. The parasailing there is BIG FUN. As was mentioned before the BBQ lunch is very good. There is some shopping there also. It is perfectly safe, it is RCI's private beach. I'm sure the Liberty will be a great cruise. This stop is a must. You never mentioned what your concerns were exactly.
Ditto to all positive remarks. It is virtually a private area for the cruise line and is safe, and well maintained. I did leave behind my boat shoes there once (my contribution to the populace). The beach is wonderful and you will almost certainly have a great day there.

My concern was about the safety of this port. But thanks to all of the great responses from you experienced cruisers, I am looking forward to booking a cruise that will include this port. It sounds like fun and just my cup of tea. Thanks again to one and all for all the positive information.
