Default Tri Rail system in Miami ... have you used it?

Has anyone used this system commuter rail system? I hear it runs from MIA north and passes through FLL - at only $4.00!!
Any feedback would be great.

My sister worked in Miami and often flew home through FLL because the fares were less expensive. She used the tri-rail all the time. She said just bring rolling luggage as you will have to do a lot of walking.

Kids don't slow you down, they only increase your baggage allowance
