Default weather.com says it raining in the caribbean :(

Ok, has anyone traveled western in April (we are leaving the 7th). It says scattered showers .... can anyone ease my mind? I will cry if it rains the whole time. I checked all my ports of calls Cozumel, grand cayman, jamaica and labadee.....
any reassurance would be appreciated.

While it did rain for us last week in St Thomas and St Maarten, we still enjoyed our excursions. April 7th is far enough away, I won't worry. Enjoy!

Don't fret, even if you see some rain, doesn't mean it will be where you are and even if you see some, it usually doesn't last the entire day. I'm sure you'll have plenty of sunny/warm days, enjoy and don't worry.

Did the weather report happen to give a time line or anything? Like showers in the morning & clearing up by noon or anything?

But if its scattered showers, I would not worry. It could be raining on one part of the area & dry in another area. Kinda like in your own home area. Your house could be sunny, but 3 miles away its pouring rain. That sort of thing.

You might just move in & out of them.

Default thanks

It did say scattered - it was just a little alarming that every port said scattered! Hopefully its just a system that is moving through ....

We were sailing the souther caribbean last week and had some brief rain showers. The showers didn't last long and did ruin any of our days.

"It never rains in Southern California..."

or the Caribbean in April. Don't worry about about! it will be far more sunny than cloudy and rain if any will bring welcome relief from the intense sun and cool you off.

You are worried about nothing.

Yes, if it does rain it will be a welcome relief. It's going to be hot. Enjoy.

Someday in Caribbean

Some days it's hot
Some days it rains
Some days cloudy
Some afternoons windy.

See you will have it all someday.
Just jump in the water and let it rain. The water is still warm.
