Sovereign of the Seas Question - Lifeboats

Hi guys!!

Does anyone know if Deck 9 has the obstructed view with the lifeboats? Or is that Deck 8 & 7? I'm getting different answers from travel agents. The photo's posted are hard to tell on here also. So I'm asking you experts out there!! Thanks!!

All staterooms on Deck 8 have an obstructed view.

I have been on deck 7 and 9. 2 times in 9244 and once in 9582. This pic is of 9582. Deck 9 are superior oceanview and bigger than 7-8. They are above the lifeboats so you can see out across the water. There are lifeboats directly in front of windows on deck 8 and on deck 7 you are on the promenade deck so can see out to the water but you are looking directly at people passing by your window on the promeande deck. If you can see them...they can see you!

There are 4 decks of cabins in the superstructure 7,8,9 and 10. Prmenade, Boat, Commodore and Bridge. You can see them in this pic. 7 is looking at the promenade deck and 10 is just under the pool where they recently added the balconies. it is harder to fall off of this ship...

Dave! You always crack me up!! Well, which would you do personally? Deck 9?

Our travel agent said these rooms were available on Deck 7, 7552, 7554, 7052/54 (next to the elevators).

Deck 6, 6592 and 6902/94, also by the elevators. We have another couple meeting us in Florida, so we're trying to figure out what's best.

Between 6 and 7 I would pick deck 6. You have a better view and the same size cabin.

Well, according to the photo in the catalog, you are on the same level as the shops, the casino, schooner bar and the lounge.

Yes deck 5 is a good location and very similar to deck 6. The Schooner bar is one of my favorite spots. 5004 is Starboard all the way forward. I prefer being closer to midship so I am nearer the action and stairs or elevator to the pool deck. That is my personal preference.

I am not sure if there is a banner but there is a lounge chair out here with my name on it. See if you can find it....
