new years on the Liberty of the Seas

I am new here and just booked our holiday cruise leaving December 29th from Miami. I know it is a new ship we are going on but i was wondering what RCCL does for the holiday season? My son's birthday is on new year's eve and is looking forward to something pretty special. any advice you would love to share or even fellow travelers- we would love to hear from you!

I always wind up on the ships the cruise right after the New Years trips. I haven't been able to justify the cost yet. Besides, I liked watching the BCS game on board this year, that was fun.

They'll still have the christmas trees and such out, I'm pretty sure of that.
