Can anyone tell me what the "Quest" game is like? I keep seeing comments about it....and that I shouldn't miss it!

Everyone who wants to play is divided into teams of 6-8, so it can be about 20 to 25 teams. It is an adult scavenger hunt without leaving the lounge. The Cruise Director asks for a specific item in the room and each teams brings it up to him, showing him their team #. The team with the most points wins. It would really spoil it if someone were to tell you too much. We never miss it, laughing the whole time. We love watching and helping first timers because they really get into it.

Default Quest

It's an opportunity to have a lot of fun with people you will never see again. Be sure to leave your inhibitions in your cabin.

It's a fun game. but I have to admit I cheated. but it was not my idea. One of the girls (first time I met her) in my group calls herself the quest champion. She won quest the last 8 cruises in a row. She brings with her most of what is needed in a bag and has her husband hold it. Her bag included: 2 bras, compass, mirror, lipstick, false teeth (the fake plastic type), socks. And also easy slip on ladies shoes and mens shoes with the laces off. She also got a fake tattoo (but that did not work because they ask for a real tattoo. luckily I was the one in the group with a real tattoo.
Our group did end up with the win with 85 points. So my group got the tshirt.
I guess some people will do anything to win a tshirt.

I did not realize she came prepared until the false teeth came out of the bag after the compass and lipstick.

They seem to be changing up the Quest a little bit now. I was on the Majesty OTS a couple of months ago and the staff running the Quest threw a lot of different items in the mix and some of the people that came prepared for the game were not the winners they thought they would be. The game still ended the same, with the same parade of guys in bras and high heels, but a lot of the items asked for were different on this cruise anyway.

Part of the fun of this game is the unexpected. One cruise our dinner tablemates came with us. They were 3 generations, Mother Son, and Grandson, and very British. Little did we know how much fun we would have.

This very composed lady, pulled her false teeth out, without a 2nd thought, and I ended up kissing her Grandson! We all needed depends that night, we laughed so hard...

The less you know, the more fun it will be!

I'm glad they change it up from time to time as I really consider it cheating for people to come prepared with bags of stuff - just takes away from the spirit of the game.

OH MY GOSH !!!!!!
SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF FUN....CANT WAIT TO CHECK THIS OUT.
UNFORTUNATELY I KNOW MY HUSBAND WON'T DO THIS. HE IS SHY. AND TOO RESERVED. I WILL HAVE TO PICK OUT ANOTHER GUY THAT WILL BE TRAVELING WITH US.

HE WON'T GO INTO ANYTHING THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN.....HES STRANGE THAT WAY....HE DOESN'T WANT TO EMBARRASS HIMSELF OR ANYONE ELSE.

THAT IS HIS FINAL ANSWER......PHEWIE...........

OH WELL I WILL HAVE FUN

Wezie,
Take DH along and have him watch. They make teams of 6 or 8 people. My husband is almost the same way but he loves to go and watch! He laughs so hard and has even helped out a little...nothing that would embarrass him.

Yes, tell you husband that even though he's part of a team, he doesn't have to be one of the runners, he can just sit and take it all in, nothing to be embrassed about. I bet he enjoys it and will want to go again.

We look for to this game with each new cruise...
Tell your dh to just watch, you don't have to join in if you do not want to.

Default Is there a minimum age cut off?

We will have older teens (17+) with us (yes they look older too)- since they have seen the Late show comedians too,
are they allowed to at least attend, and not "particiapte"??

This is how it usually ends up. I was team #1 and we did win this time on the Enchantment last November. We all got a thing like a folder to keep your cruise documents in.
