Default back to back cruising

We are going on Liberty of the Seas March 08 on a back to back. Can we get off for the day in Miami between cruises? Any other tips would be appreciated. Can't wait sailing with DW and DS.

Hi Alan and MJ,
Yes you can get off the ship. Just make sure you have the right sign/sail card to get you back on. Do you have the same cabin for both cruises?

Hi Donna,
Thanks for answering so quickly. Yes we have cabin 8712 for both cruises!
This board is a great wealth of info.

Hi Alan and M-J,
I've never done back/back, not sure if you have to do another embarkment thing to get new sign/sail cards, but I have gone onboard and back off before the ship leaves. At least you don't have to pack and move to a different cabin, great!

Default Back-to-Back

When we did our last b-t-b cruises, we were asked to go to a lounge (with other b-t-b passengers) while the rest of the ship's passengers were getting off. After all had disembarked, a crew member brought us new SeaPass cards, escorted us off the ship through immigration, then back onto the ship. We couldn't go back to our cabin until 1:00 P. M. The whole process of getting new cards, then getting off and back on took all of 15 minutes.
