Default Pulman Bed question?

We are booked on a back to back on Liberty of the Seas in March 08. We have a Cat.E1 Cabin 8712. We are travelling with our 15 year old son and the travel agent said there is a pulman bed. Anyone know where it is located? Is this an O.K. room? It was this or Cat I on the 2nd deck.
Thanks yet again.

Has anyone had this room on Freedom of the seas. As it is almost the exact ship would the rooms not be the same? Cabin 8712.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi, MJ and Alan -

If the cabins are anything like the ones on Explorer, the pullman is located above the bed. Go to my photo gallery album - Explorer of the Seas 2006 - and you can see what a balcony cabin looks like. You won't be able to see the pullman because we didn't have it pulled down in that picture - you can't even see it when its against the wall.

I can send you a picture with it down, if you'd like.

Enjoy!!
Sharon

Thanks Sharon would love it if you could send a photo with the pulman down just so I know what to expect. How do I find your photo's on explorer? I'm a newbie to these groups!
Thanks again,
M-J

MJ -

At the top right of this page you'll see a link for PHOTO GALLERY. Just click on that and you'll see my EXPLORER OF THE SEAS - 2006 album.

I'll add the pullman photo to the PART 2 gallery when I get home from work.

We had that category balcony room on the Freedom and
our granddaughter, then 13 on the pullman bed. She did not
like it!! She sometimes woke up in the middle of the night,
sat up, and we heard, "Ouch" as she hit her head on the ceiling.
It is pretty close to the ceiling.

We and she much prefer the sleeper sofa for the 3rd
person.

This is a Cat E1 on Mariner. It should be the same. I just came back last week. I had my two boys with me and they took turns with it. They are 14 and 10. They liked it!

Thanks, Dave!!!

I actually slept in a pullman several times....last time I was 40 years old. My nephew & niece were with me and I'd rather sleep up there then put up with the two of them coming in at all hours of the night - or should I say morning!

But last year I made my nephew - 21 yrs. old and 6 feet tall - sleep in the pullman. He didn't mind it at all.
