Default Music Cruise

Does anyone know of a music cruise that will feature the Four Tops?

Just curious, why the Four Tops ? (really 3 since Levi Stubbs had his stroke and in his honor they don't replace him)

When I make my yearly contribution to the PBS pledge drive, I always ask them to sponsor a theme cruise featuring all of the Motown Acts they feature during the Pledge Drive..I bet that would sell out in about 2 seoncds

Tom Joyner's Fantastic Voyage cruise he sponsors every year on Royal Caribbean during May, usually features at least 1-2 Motown Acts from the 60's

I forget which ship will sponsor Martha and the Vandella's and a few other female singers from the 60's

I heard just the tail end of an advertisement on a radio spot and I am trying to get info. There may have been more artists mentioned but the Four Tops was the name I heard.

I would love to go on a Motown and other artist from that era cruise. I know about Tom Joyner's cruise but I am usually working during the time they sail.

Thanks for your reply. If anyone else hears of a great theme music cruise, especially with Motown artist, let me know.

Your best bet is do an Internet seach for "Theme Cruises". The travel agency I use has different theme cruises throughout the year. Most of them are sponsored by local radio stations. For example they have a Zydeco Music Cruise, Louisiana Music Cruise, and Cajun Music cruises to name a few. On another cruise type chat room I was in, they had a paragraph in their News Section that mentioned an Elvis theme cruise. So I am sure you will have no problem finding what you are looking for by doing a search for that particular type of cruise. Good luck finding it.

Ronnie McNeir replaced Levi.

The SS Norway had a 50's/60's cruise every year. We must have gone on atleast 7 of them. Saw many, many acts. Those were the best cruises we ever had.

Back on topic, I have heard radio ads for these cruises. The ones that I heard were sponsored by a company. You had to book through them and to see the "acts" you had to pay extra. I don't remember what cruise line that was with.

NCL used to have them on the Dawn after the SS Norway quit doing them.
