Shorts O.K. at breakfast and lunch??

I know that the dining room dress questions kind of get done to death on here and I'm sure this has been asked many times but....Are shorts ok in the dining room if you choose to eat there for breakfast and/or lunch? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the formal night and know that dressing up that night and nicely at dinner on the other nights is important and I think a great idea. Just wondering about breakfast and lunch.

Also, does anyone know which night will be the formal one on the 4 day Sovereign cruise to Bahamas...Im guessing second night, but I'm not sure.

Shorts are fine for breakfast and lunch. That is what I normally wear.

Formal night should be on your first sea day after departure (assuming no stops the first day).

Shorts/t-shirts, sandals are fine for breakfast and lunch. Just remember, no bathing suits..

I believe your second night out will be the formal evening...
