Default Vision OTS to Alaska

Has anyone taken the Vision OTS to Alaska? We were on the Vision last year in Mexico, and will be taking her again this Sept. to Alaska. I know that the solarium on the Vision has a closable roof, do they close it during the Alaska voyages and allow swimming? What do they do with the main pool area? I know it is much too cold to swim outside, so do they just cover up the outside pool area but keep the solarium open and heated?

Default VI to ALCAN

Yes, I have sailed the VI to Alaska and was lucky enough to be blessed with lovely weather. Swam in the main pool every day.
Of course I also used the solarium pool (with the roof closed).

I don't think I'm going to get that lucky my friend. My cruise leaves on Sept. 21 from Vancouver, and according to my weather research, the average daily temperature in southeast Alaska is between 43F and 55F, so I doubt anyone will be in the main pool. However, I still assume the covered solarium will be enclosed, heated and available for swimming?
