Default Dramine or Bonine

I was wondering if bonine works as well as dramine? I have taken dramine in the past and I get very sleepy, they came out with nondrowsy but can't find it anywhere. I have found bonine and it says less drowsy. is that true. Thank You

Might also consider SeaBands - no drowsiness.

Try Budweiser. I drink plenty of it and never get seasick! Works great for me. 8)

For the vast majority of people Bonine (generic name Meclizine) causes less drowsiness than Dramamine.

There is a minority of people who take Bonine (I'm one of them) who will become sleepy after taking it.

Take care,
Mike

Bonine is the same drug as the Less Drowsy Dramamine. I prefer the Relief Band for relieving motion sickness, but have never needed it on a cruise.

I liked bonine as well as the sea bands. They do, however, have dramamine with a less drowsiness formula. It works I have taken it. They are both just as good.

Bonine is much better, according to the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita). She is VERY prone to motion sickness, and takes a Bonine (mechlizine) every morning of our cruises, and has never had a problem. Even if you got a bit drowsy, I think you'd agree that it's much better to be feelin' good, and a bit drowsy, than wide awake, and sick!

Have a great cruise,

Ken

as the earlier poster said, bonnine in the same as less drowsy drammamine which is the same as meclizine (generic name). You can go to stores like wal mart or target and find meclizine at good prices and bonnine is very expensive. i always stock up before cruising.
