I have done both of those itineraries on RCI Enchantment. They are both good. Just decide based on where you would like to go and when. My choice would be the Grand Cayman Ocho Rios with two days at sea again.

A day at sea is time to get wasted. Days at sea are great. It is like a big all day pool party. My favorites!!

You won't go wrong with any of these choices! If you prefer the port intensive itinerary, go with one the those with 3 ports. All the ports have something to offer, so go from there. Also think about which port is easier to leave from. If flying, for me, it is cheaper to fly into Ft. Lauderdale. Don't you just love decisions like this! There isn't a wrong answer!

I hate the port every day cruises. I look for at sea days to balance out the port days.

I, however, go on longer cruises. 12+ days.

Then it is either #1 or #2. Given that choice, I would go with #2.

I would do the Key West, Cozumel and Belize. This is based more on the fact that I like the Enchantment much better than the Imagination. The ports are secondary to me.

But your first port of call is in the USA. Makes no sense going on a "Caribbean" cruise and stoping in FL.

Good point but last time I was in Key West on the Enchantment, there was a parrot head convention going on and we had a great time!

I happen to love Key West. Hotel rooms run about $300 a night, so to me its a treat to get a day in Key West and be able to sleep on the ship and skip those high priced hotel rooms.

I agree. I enjoy the time onboard. Mingling with other cruisers, enjoying the pool deck and then dinner and a show. I could go on a cruise and stay on the ship the whole time. The days at sea are great just to be at sea, watch the water, enjoy the sunshine and kicjk back with some cold ones.

Hello fellowcruisers,

Any itinerary is great. However, we had an 11-night cruise on Empress of the Seas and we stopped at a port every day. That was too much. We had a great time, but I was on the go constantly! I enjoy an 'at sea' after you sail from the original port so you can get acclaminated to the ship; find out where everything is and then relax with a couple of drinks, watch the ocean and not worry about anything!
