Default Shore excursions Freedom in October

This is our first cruise together! My second cruise but it's been 15 years! My husband's first. We are trying to decide what shore excursions to take on St. Maarten and St. Thomas. We may arrange our own. We love to shop but we love the beaches as well. Some offered sound good but sometimes I know they eat up so much time. Any suggestions?

You could take a cab over to Meagans Bay and get the beach time in. Then on the way back, stop and do some shopping.

we enjoyed the French Connection catamaran in St Maartens. Snorkeling, beautiful sailing and then they stopped in Marigot for shopping. We booked it with http://stmaartencruiseexcursions.com

Ditto to both. Magens Bay on St. Thomas (if you have time to burn you can also try Trunk Bay on St. Johns) On St. Maarten the cat trip is great and Marigot is a little slice of France in the Caribbean.

in St. Maarten we did the Golden Eagle Catamaran sail -loved it- we took a morning tour so that gave us plenty of time to go back to the ship, drop off our beach stuff, grab a bite to eat and then grab the water taxi into town to do some shopping.
St. Thomas - treat yourself to the Champagne Catamaran sail - sail, beach & snorkeling to St. John island. If you dock at Havensight the mall is right there for good shopping. If you want more local crafters, local vendors and anchor stores then you should shop downtown Charlotte-Amalie- a short cab ride from the pier.
