The beach @ Pigeon Island National Park in St. Lucia

Has anyone been to this beach? If so, please give me your pros and cons right away. Is it a good beach for swimming and is there shade or umbrellas for rent? Next week at this time I'll be two days away from this port on the AOS attending a wedding on this beach. I've got 22 cruisers with me that want to know...
