Your Sea Pass will tell them your age. They won't ask for your fake ID.

No way to change your age. Thee bars do not take cash. It all goes on the Sea Pass.

If things haven't changed since last summer, your SeaPass will actually have a whole punched in it that indicates you're underage. Also, the bartenders have a list of underage passengers that they use as a reference.

The only way they will serve you a drink is by using your sign/sail card, that pays for the drink, so no way will you get drinks without it.

You got it.

As to the age on your card, they verify your date of birth on your passport when you check in for the cruise.

Basically, the cruise lines do not want passengers whose idea of a good time is getting "wasted" -- partly because such passengers tend to spoil the good times of others and partly because such passengers tend to do stupid things, like climb on safety rails and then fall off in the middle of the night, that give the cruise line a bad reputation.

If you are under 21 on the day of sail, you can have whatever sodas, juices, and mocktails you want during the cruise, but absolutely NO booze aboard ship.

Of course, you can drink ashore during ports of call where you are of age. Just be sure that you get back to the ship before she sails.

Norm.

I am sure you will have no problem finding a guy who is 21 to buy you a drink....

The rules have actually changed and now if you turn 21 during the cruise, you will be issued a new seapass to show that you can drink. It is new info on their website now.

The first response was correct.

Personally I would love to have REALLY good fake ID that says I'm "20."

Take care,
Mike

WOW, Me too Mike. Believe it or not, I was at the grocery store purchasing a bottle of chardonnay for the lovely Mrs. Jones, (Vita), and got carded!!!!! First time in at least 40 years! I guess the girl was instructed to card everybody, or else she has really bad eyesight,,or else I'm just a very young looking guy, who looks a lot like Tom Selleck,,,,except that I'm a little bit shorter,,,,and my face is different.
