Default RE; POUTINE?? ON SHIPS!!

My girls love to eat Poutine........(Canadian)
Just wondering if they have Poutine on the ships. We are going on the Granduer on Oct 5th/07.

Or does anyone know if they where to ask for Poutine would they make it for them,...???

All it is is fries with cheese and gravy Im thinking that they might but I don't know.. lol

Not a biggie there is lots of food there..... just curious.

Thanks.

I have never seen it on the menu. Sorry. I LOVE the stuff myself. The best you can do is get fries and ask for cheese and gravy on top. They won't know what you mean if you ask for it by name.

there are a TON of Candian crew members on board . . . I think they would have found it already or passed on the recipe, but they haven't.

They'd first have to find the fries - not sure if the dining room has them, does the Windjammer have fries all the time?

Down in the crew messes, we just put American cheese on the fries and microwave them

I have not seen this on any of my RCI cruises, and my guess would be they would not be so willing to make that for you, but asking never hurts! I think time would be a factor, in their consideration....

On all of the RCL cruises I've been on, the Windjammer had fries every day for lunch. You can also usually get them at the outside grill that serves burgers and hot dogs.

Johnny Rockets can do the cheese fries, not sure about the gravy. We got cheese fries when we were there, but not sure if the $3.95 admission charge is really worth it for cheese fries, and the possibility of having gravy.

Well I know that alot of Canadians Enjoy eating Poutine.... Maybe this is something that they should add to Johnny Rockets Menu thinging... I am sure they would make a killing in the summer months when there is tons of kids aboard the ship...
Nope the Grandeur doesn't have a Johnny Rockets....
Oh well doesn't matter...Just thought that I would ask this qustion before we boarded the ship...
Im thinking that the kids can live without Poutine for a few weeks... ......
Besides there is so much more to eact then Poutine... like come on..
Thanks everyone for your replies...
Until next time... bye bye
and HAPPY SAILING TO ALL...
