D1 Balcony on deck six of Explorer of the Ocean

Me again, just wondering if you can sit on a D1 Balcony and see out... if the railing is plexiglass or not?

There is a divider between the balconies, but no plexiglass to seperate you from the outside. The railing is solid up to about waist level, then there is an actual rail on top of that just above your waist. No glass above that, just open air and a great view!

Below the railing is solid so when sitting in chair on your balcony you have to look up and over the railing to see anything. We were pleasantly surprised that Explorer's sister ship the Mariner of the seas has plexiglass below the railing and that is so much nicer.
