How much cash to bring?

My husband and I are getting ready to head out on a 2 week cruise to Hawaii on Radiance. We plan on putting most things on our "tab" to pay with a credit card later. But, how much cash do you recommend bringing? And is there an ATM on the boat?

This is my first cruise, so I'm very grateful for advice.

The big variable is how much you like to gamble, and sovenir shop. I'd plan on taking $100 PP per day. Then, unless you gamble quite a bit, you'll come home with about half the cash.

I wouldn't take much cash since you are going to Hawaii. Beware of the ATMs aboard ship however. Some of them charge $7.50 per transaction !
