Probably the best for location is the Embassy Suites on 17 St.- and they do offer shuttle from the airport and to the pier.

A very nice place to stay is Lago Mar Resort and Club and as far as I can remember, they offer shuttle service to port.

I just made a reservation at the Comfort Suites by the airport - reasonable cost, free shuttle from airport to hotel and from hotel to pier, and breakfast included. Nice, clean, convenient, and attractive accomodations.

totally agree with Trip AmeriSuites is a really nice place. We used to be huge Embassy Suite fans, but they have gone waaaay up on their pricing and the shuttle is no longer complimentary

We have stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn which also offers free shuttle both to airport and pier. Also complimentary full breakfast, are located right on the beach and reasonable priced.

Default hampton inn

the hotel board has some posts about this very thing - check them out. however, we just went to ft. lauderdale this year and drove and we have been two years ago and we flew. When we flew we used the marriott dania and we had a shuttle to and from the hotel and port and it was very good of course and a lovely hotel but a little pricey for us at over 120 a night. this year we stayed at the hampton inn airport north and were totally overwhelmed with how great the service and stay was. We drove, were able to park our car there for the length of the cruise for no extra charge (just paid the nightly rate of 99/night for the night we stayed before embarkation) therefore avoiding the HIGH parking fees at the port. We had shuttle service to and from the port without any difficulty. they also provide shuttle to and from the airport. alot of the people on our port shuttle used the airport shuttle the night before. this hotel also had a good continental breakfast and the rooms were large and comfortable. by far, i think this is the best kept secret in ft. lauderdale and the best value for the money you pay.

Default We've been to Fort Lauderdale many times...

...but this is our first time cruising from Port Everglades.

We've booked the Extended Stay of America which is right next to the Port.

We've booked for both the night before the cruise and the night of the return.

Also have discount codes for $10 off of each stay.

let me know if you're interested and I'll find the coupon code for you.
