Default How late can you board RC Empress of the Seas?

My DH and I are cruising out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Dec. 3. We are flying in the day of the cruise. Our ship is leaving port at 8:00 p.m. How late will RC let you board the ship? If anyone knows the answer to this, please tell me. My husband talked to a VTG salesperson who told us we would have til 7:00 p.m. to get on the ship. Of course, we don't plan to cut it that close, but you never know with flights now a days. We have also been told different things by different VTG people, so we were just wondering if this is correct. THANKS for any help you can give me on this.

Hi LG,
What time does your flight get in to SJU? I'd just go right to the ship, get onboard and if you are ther early enough, you can always get off and explore a bit of Old San Juan.

Thanks Donna and forfuntimers. We plan to board as soon as possible, and then if we have any time, we'll get off and explore San Juan for a little while.
