Default Christmas cruising and shore excursions

Hi all, I'm cruising over Christmas on Majesty with hubby and two teens (17 &16). I'm curious if the ships get "decked out" for the holidays? Also, I hate to reserve/pay for shore excursions for teens, who may change mind/decide to stay up all night, sleep all day. Is it really necessary to book those floaty mats or snorkeling stuff in CocoCay or can you just get there and purchase then? If you do reserve, how late can you cancel? Thanks!! Lynn

The ship will most certtainly be decorated for the holidays (probably is already actually).

If you're only going to be looking for float mats and snorkel gear I don't think you'll have any problem waititng until you're there to "book" them.

hmmnnn....do you mean I can "book them" directly on the island if the kids decide they want to? Or do you mean formally book them on the ship? Thanks, haven't cruised in awhile...Lynn

24hrs notice to cancel a shore excursion. You can rent float mats and snorkel gear on the island. You can even book excursions once you get to the Cays if there is space available still
