Default Group reservation for Portofino

The 16 adults in our family of 20 plan to have dinner in Portofino on our cruise next week. Problem is, they won't let us book ahead and can't guarantee we'll even be seated together even if we are lucky enough to get a reservation for that many people. We're going to Kennedy Space Center so we'll be arriving at the ship around 3 pm and I'm worried everyone is going to storm the place and we'll be out. By the way, RCCL gave us vouchers for this restaurant as an amenity for booking a large group. We are timing it to coincide with the children's Adventure dinner so the little ones can have their fun too. Any advice for us?

Once you board, just either call or go down there ane make reso's, hopefully, they can get you all together, best of luck and enjoy the meal there. If for some reason, you can't all fit, try Chops??

Thanks Donna, I'll try. Have you heard anything about tropical storm Olga? I was looking at the weather forecast and discovered it's already caused floods in Haiti and was in Jamaica last night and headed for Cozumel - our destinations beginning Sunday! I'm pretty worried right now.

Teris...We're heading down to San Juan on Saturday for our cruise which starts on Sunday. I spoke with the hotel and they said that it was really just a tropical depression with a lot of rain and windy but it moved through pretty quickly. No real damage. The weather tracker shows it'll be in the Gulf of Mexico by Sunday...hopefully your destinations will be recovered by then. Good luck and enjoy the cruise.

Yes, I've been watching the tracker and the ts path runs over or near every port we're heading to but should pass Cozumel by Saturday so we're optomistic! Enjoy your cruise as well!
