Chakanaab is not a resort, but a park with restaurants, swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, etc. Entrance is about $12 per person and is NOT all inclusive. But it is a nice place to spend the day.

We went to the El Cid. It was $35, all you could eat and drink. A pool, two small beaches, and a hot tub. It was wonderful. We drank more than $35 worth of drinks and there was no shortage of them. We were on the Freedom of the Seas and it was right next to the pier, we walked to it.

There are some pictures on the last page of my webshots:

Nachi was about a 15-20 min ride, if I recall. you will pass by the other beach clubs with long lines outside. I really enjoyed and loved that there was a pool. I do enjoy the beach, but one always feels so sticky with the salt water and sand. I had a set up in both beach and pool. Plenty of cover as well when I wanted to get out of the sun.
